PGI Copyright and Logo

The name Pyrotechnics Guild International, the acronyms PGI and PGII, and the PGI Greenman logo are all registered trademarks of the Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc., and may not be used without permission of the Board of Directors of the PGI.

For personal use, no permission/authority is needed when merely using the acronym "PGI" or words "Pyrotechnics Guild International" to indicate you are a member of the PGI, as long as you actually are a member. For commercial use, such as shirts, pins, hats, and other items, a vendor must have PGI permission/authority for something they are selling regardless of the venue of the sales (PGI Convention, WPA Convention, NFPA convention, etc.).
Obtaining permission is simple - send an email or letter to the Vice-President of Communications (VPComm@pgi.org) with the request, indicating what you plan on using (words "PGI", "Pyrotechnics Guild International", "Greenman logo", etc.) and a statement on how you intend to use it.
