Currently, there are three levels of membership:

Current Membership Rates

Membership Levels New Renewal
Member (w/ PGI Bulletin) $100 $75
Junior* (w/ PGI Bulletin) $60 $60
Lifetime (w/ PGI Bulletin) $2500 N/A

* Junior members are defined as being less than 18 years of age at the time of joining or renewal. Per ATF guidelines, at 18 YO individuals become responsible for their fireworks activities and move into the adult, full-membership category. Those over 18 become covered by PGI's insurance and transport benefits, thus full Member status is required.

New and renewing members will receive all the benefits of Guild membership during the 365-day period of their membership, including the PGI Bulletin and calendar publications during that period, the opportunity to register to attend the PGI convention, access via email login to the PGI website, and other benefits of membership available during that membership period.

Membership Period and Renewals

Memberships run for a period of one year (365 days) from the date of the currently active membership. For those applying or renewing online, this is the date on which you initially completed the PGI Application and Renewal Form (which is currently active for renewals). For those applying via US Postal Service (printed form), this is the date of your canceled check or Credit Card statement charge. Purchasing a renewal while your membership is still active will add one year (365 days) to the end of your current active membership term.

One or more email reminder notices will be sent via email near the end of your membership. You may renew online with the links below or print the PGI Membership Application and Renewal Form from the website and mail-in a renewal. When joining or renewing, you may buy multiple years of membership at the same time. This requires that you join (if not already a Member) at the prevailing, new membership rate and then adding additional renewal years at the prevailing, renewal rate.

No Grace Period
For renewing members, there is NO grace period should you fail to renew your membership before it expires. If this happens, you will need to rejoin at the prevailing new membership rateNOTE that all mail-in renewals must have CORRECT FUNDS and be RECEIVED at PGI Member Services before your expiration date. Incorrect funds and postmark dates do not comply with our PGI Bylaws, therefore all violations will be rejected as there is NO grace period.

Emails and Website Login

As we move into using electronic communications, each membership requires a unique email address to gain login access to the PGI website and to receive PGI notifications. If a family/household has multiple memberships and wishes to have all emails sent to one email address, the primary Member's email address can be used for subsequent household memberships, though this limits the other member's accessibility to the website and subsequent notifications. Therefore, the PGI Board encourages each Member/Junior to use a unique email address for their personal website login and annual renewal notices.
